On Tuesday, August 11 our church will be sponsoring the launch of a new community initiative called Kids4Kids Cooking. Community groups will be taking turns hosting this program which aims to partner kid volunteers with adult volunteers to cook meals for families in need. The program plans to work closely with Lasagna Love, a global non profit that connects volunteer chefs with local families in need, and the Galway Backpack Program which serves children in our own community facing food insecurities. Our goal for this first event will be to make 12 lasagnas that will then be delivered to families that need them. Kid and Adult volunteers Needed!
